Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions:
- “We”, “Us”, “Our” refer to A-Security Solutions Ltd.
- “You”, “Your” refer to the individual or organisation making the booking and/or the learner or candidate attending the course.
Cancellations
Due to costs incurred by us, including awarding body registration fees and e-learning licences, we do not offer cash refunds on any bookings.
Instead, refunds are issued as course credit, which can be used toward a future booking. The amount of credit provided depends on the notice given (see Rescheduling section below).
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which allow cancellation within 14 days of purchase.
- If a course is partially paid, the full balance remains payable by the invoice due date.
- If you access or begin any e-learning within the 14-day cancellation period:
- That portion becomes non-refundable.
- You waive your right to cancel that part of the service.
- A reasonable deduction will be applied to cover costs incurred.
- Where payments are made via card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, we reserve the right to deduct non-refundable merchant processing fees already incurred.
Rescheduling
If you are unable to attend your booked course, you may request to transfer to a future course. Course credit will be issued based on the notice provided.
For partially paid bookings, the full course fee remains due by the invoice due date.
Course credit is issued at the sole discretion of A-Security Solutions Ltd as follows:
- 22+ days before course start: 100% course credit
- 15–21 days before course start: 75% course credit
- 8–14 days before course start: 50% course credit
- 0–7 days before course start: 25% course credit
Late Arrival / Non-Attendance
Punctuality is essential due to strict guided learning hours set by awarding bodies.
- We operate a zero-tolerance policy on lateness. Late arrivals will be refused entry to the training and no refund or credit will be issued.
- Failure to attend a course for any reason is treated as a cancellation without notice, and no refund or credit will be provided.
- For unpaid or partially paid bookings, the full course fee remains payable.
Failure to Complete Pre-Course Requirements
Learners must complete all required e-learning, pre-course study, or home study materials as outlined in the joining instructions.
Failure to do so may result in:
- Refusal of entry to the course
- Cancellation of your booking
- No refund or credit issued
Identification Requirements
You must bring valid proof of identity as specified in your joining instructions and required by awarding organisations.
Failure to provide acceptable ID may result in:
- Refusal of entry to the course
- Cancellation of your booking
- No refund or credit issued
Exam Failure and Re-Sits
If you do not pass your examination:
- You will be required to book a re-sit at our training centre
- A re-sit fee of £78.00 must be paid in advance
